Thank you for visiting our Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer Team Page. Everyone on our team is excited for Game Day and has been training very hard to play from dawn-to-dusk!
However, what we’re most excited for is the opportunity to raise money for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. All money raised will be going to crucial cancer research, therapies and treatments that will ultimately save lives and provide a fighting chance to all those living with this devastating disease.
As a team, we have a set a fundraising goal that we are confident we can reach, but in order to do so we need your help. With your generous contributions and support, we believe we can both meet and exceed our fundraising goal.
While we realize reaching our team goal won’t be easy, we wanted to aim high so that we could raise as much money as possible and make a truly impactful contribution in the fight against cancer. An estimated 206,200 new cases of cancer and 80,800 deaths occurred in Canada in 2017 alone. If you take into account all of the families and friends of those affected, the number of people touched by cancer would be in the millions – it’s time to take a stand against cancer.
That’s why, with your help, our team hopes to raise as much money as possible so that we can support The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation as they fight to Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime!
